New arrivals just in from our pals at Clone Records in the NL. Some sublime releases from some of our favourite Techno & Electro heavyweights in this week with recent material from Donato Dozzy's Spazio Disponsible, new 12" from Peter Van Hoesen on his own Time 2 Xpress (which we are particularly excited about after baring witness to his recent destruction of Marrickville's Red Rattler), new material from Field Records, Clone sublabels and some new ins from Frustrated Funk.
Included in these is a very fine indeed follow up to the recent 12" from Simon Keat (aka. Reedale Rise) - "Light Through a Birds Wing" in the form of a new offering titled "Eternal Return". Keat is proving to be one of our favourite discoveries of the past couple years with his unique brand of quirky yet painfully beautiful Detroit-cross-Warp-Era-UK Electro. His productions display impressive depth, polish and control perfectly contrasted with just the right amount of grit and funk and a certain sort of "cuteness" which makes them irresistible. Quality over quantity definitely holds true for Keat as our eager anticipation toward his recent scattered output is yet to be met with anything less than strong satisfaction.
Check out the previews for Eternal Return here and be sure to come by and see us this weekend as copies of this beauty are limited. ➡️
